We don’t minister because we are worthy
Or because we are talented, or because we’ve arrived
Rather we minister because He is worthy
Because He has called us, and because He’s alive

And we can’t not do what He’s called us to do
And we can’t not say what He’s called us to say
And we can’t not go where He’s called us to go
Though we do it in our own imperfect way

We don’t minister because we are perfect
Or because we are beautiful, or to seek man’s praise
Rather we minister because He is holy
Because He has called us, and He charts our days (refrain)

We don’t minister to seek our own glory
Or to tell our own story, or to do our own thing
Rather we minister to bring our Father glory
To tell His Son’s story, and to worship our King (refrain)

For we minister because He is worthy
