There’s a famine in the land; Hearts are hungry for truth.
There’s a famine in the land; God has given you real food.
There’s a famine in the land, and you know He’s calling you.
There’s a famine in the land; What will you choose to do?

Will you hoard all of your blessings?
Will you hide all of your stores?
Will you just watch those who are dying
Without hope and without the Lord?

Will you pretend there is no suffering?
Will you turn your head from those in pain?
Will you be content with your own comfort?
And withhold the Savior’s name? (refrain)

Will you take a stand when it’s inconvenient?
Even when it hurts, will you do what’s right?
Will you sacrifice for the sake of Jesus?
Will you conceal or reveal His light?

Will you choose the road that is quite narrow?
Or blindly go with the flow of the crowd?
Will you point the way for those who are wandering?
Will you speak the truth? Will you shout it loud? (refrain)
